When attempting to log on my computer...i type in the password...when i hit the log on button it makes a beep and a log on message appears that says "the system could not log you on because the domain D60V1251 is not available" This number minus the "D" is the tag number on the back of my computer. Some one plaese tell me what happened?
Where you see your Dell Tag number click the dropdown arrow and select blank entry box then try to logon to your local PC as before. Are you actually supposed to be connected to a domain. Have you created a local network?
Thanks for your reply. I tried what you said...but there is no drop down arrow avilable when they promp shows. It only allows me to go back to the log on screen and starts the process all over again. As far as being connected to a domain...as far as i know, i have not done that. What started all this was i restored my computer to an earlier date....and when i shut it down to re-start it...thats when this started. If you have any more suggestions please send them. Again Thanks!!!
