In 2000 you need to press CTRK+ALT+DEL to log in and also when u want to change ur password or lock ur PC. Does XP offer this?

There is a way to make XP use the windows 2000 login.

Start --> settings--> control panel ---> user accounts

Select change the way users log on or off.

Uncheck Use the welcome screen.

This will change windows XP to use the clasic style login. I am not sure if this will alow you to CTRL+ATL+DEL to lock the WS or change the PW.

After you've done the above, go to Start > Run.. type in "control userpasswords2" and then go to the advanced tab. There you can select to use the ctrl-alt-del for secure login.
