Hello,

I'm looking for something that when you're surfing on the web and you see a particular picture you just have to right click on it and choose in the context menu something like "make fullscreen now".

I know that i just have to save the picture somewhere and then make it display in a simple picture viewer (like acdsee). But i don't want that, i want it to be faster than that because it's for a special computer station at the office that many peoples use. It got to be simple and fast for anybody with no computer knowledge at all.

Right now, we are using the F11 option to make the browser "almost fullscreen" but we still see all other elements surrounding the picture we want.

I want something that can show the only picture i'm interested in in the center of the screen surrounded by a plain color like black or white or any color.

Can anybody help ?

Thank you.

Zenno

Hi Zenno, hello everyone,

Are the websites you want to perform this with part of your websites, or are you asking if on any website?

Best Regards,
Mesich

I don't know of any program to do that, but the only thing i can think of temporarily, is to use the magnifying feature in xp. I think you can configure the window to zoom at x times, and maybe make the window bigger too. in any case, enlarging a web picture won't really benefit you because at more than double size, the picture becomes more blocky. but hope that can help you for now.

Hmmm, i think i will specify some details.

The system is using dual monitor. The first monitor has the standard resolution of 1024x768 and the second is a tv monitor of 720x486. We are already using the xp zoom feature you're talking about. But it does not suits us very well because often the resolution of the pictures we want are higher than 720x486 and therefore cannot be displayed entirely.

We want to be able to use any picture from any website and put it fullscreen on the second monitor at 720x486.

If you want more details, i'll be more than happy give them to you.

Tom529, Thank you, i tried both programs, but they both in their own way do the same thing, they extract all pictures from a website. I want only to see full screen the one picture i click on.

keltikgent, i just installed the browser you suggested but i can't seem to find the option for the "picture zoom" with the mouse.

I found it !

Keltikgent, thank you, this is the closest thing i could get. It does not isolate the picture from the rest of the webpage but it's much more what i want to achieve.

Thank you very much.

hi,
your welcome, what i think you wanna acheive might not be possible,or its just none of us know of a program that can do that.but avant browser does allow you to zoom the picture, where other browsers you have to save them use another program to enlarge it.
but again you are welcome, this browser is actually quite good,it allows you to also open all the links on a page by right clicking and selecting "open all links on this page".
