Does Regedt32 really exist in XP
Name: Sabertooth Date: January 12, 2004 at 16:50:00 Pacific OS: XP Pro SP2 v. 2055 CPU/Ram: Duron/768
Regedt32 is different. Granted, they may look the same to the eye, certain registry editing task need to be done via Regedt32 and not the normal Regedit.
If you search Google you may find some examples but they are two different things and Regedt32 should only be used when you are advised too, otherwise just use Regedit.

Hey Sabertooth,
A lot of people have asked the same question before - some URLs here FYI

For W2K - http://windows2000.about.com/library/tips/bltip191.htm
I used the keyword "difference between Regedit.exe and Regedt32.exe"in my Google and it came back with more links.

If I run regedt32 it opens the registry editor the same as regedit. I can't see any difference between the two and the link I gave you previously to MS says they're the same! I am none the wiser (no change there lol).
Summary: Well, I can't access the router, it's password protected. And I can't let ICS setup because it wouldn't do it. It says right away that the IP address it is trying to assign is already taken, and stops...
