Comment:

The mouse is frequently jerky, or sticks briefly, and also goes to the left hand side of the screen and sticks solid so I have to switch off and reboot.

The Product info above is the nearest I could see from the 5 offered. I am not at home at present and the details are over 400 miles away. The mouse is two button with a scroll in the middle. Underneath it has a red light and a small eye - so presumably the problem is not fluff on the ball. I have had it about two years and have been told that the problem is not (should not be) the mouse itself.

If it has batteries, they may need to be changed. If it connects directly to the computer with a wire, then you may need to re-load the drivers for the mouse.

The second type. OK...re-load, not update (windows swears that the present driver is the best it can offer). So I need the original disk? Thanks. Have to wait till I get home....or is there any chance of finding one on the Web?
