We have four access points in our school. Two work fine, two do not work at all. I am sure I did all the same things (not much) to setup the access points. Other than resetting the points is there anything I can try to get the wireless signal back onto our computer? The computer will not even find a wireless network when it is in the vacinity of the two that are not working properly.

Well, a model number might help. Other than that they usually default to an IP that you may not use. Usually there is a web based setup that allows you to config it. Check the settings again and see if they are what you put in.

The wireless adapter is a D-LINK DWL-650+ AND THE ACCESS POINT IS A D-LINK AIRPLUS XTREME G DWL 2000AP. I cannot get back to the access point b/c it cannot read the wireless signal, therefore how would I change the settings on the access point from a web based application? The access point says it must be plugged into a LAN (which it is). I just don't know how to get to the access point to change the settings. Thanks JU
