Sorry for posting so much guys, I'm just not too familiar with XP or networks. Anyways, when I try to play divx movies with the divx player, XP just hangs until I bring up taskmon and end the task. Is this an isolated incident or is it that Windows Media player 7 is kinda not allowing it or something?

Upgrade Media Player and get latest DivX player as well. I think this should resolve it.Also you can use the Set access controls feature in XP if you dont want media player to try to run this.
