My new Toshiba laptop plays mp3's with distortion when the volume is up even slightly in Media Player. Is this fixable with a new sound card, a new mp3 player (Win Amp? Other?), a new driver, etc.? It happens when I use either the cheap laptop speakers or the good headphones.
