Comment:

how do I display tiff images inside IE using kodak imaging? I heard that it works on win98, because kodak imaging is installed there, but not on winxp, and since I have both systems installed, I copied the kodak imaging files to my winxp partition and registered the *.ocx files. now kodak imaging works on winxp, but if I associate tiff pictures with kodak imaging, and open a tiff image in IE on winxp, then the picture is opened in the kodak imaging programme, not inside IE. there must be some kodak imaging activex element that must be registered to display tiff images inside IE, but I can't find out which file is responsible for it.
I know, there are several tiff image activex programmes for winxp, but they cost money. kodak imaging is free, so I want to use it

I don't know how to show the tiff picture in the IE directly. But you can do that use ActiveX Control.
There are some controls issued by Kodak, like Kodak Image Edit Control¡BKokda Image Scan Control...etc.
Good luck.
ps:you can get thet ocx file in windows 2000.(not in the winxp)
