Recently, after doing some personal scanning and cleaning, i was hit with something very strange, apparently my display tabs were..."shrunk", as they are there and i can "tab" up to them and go from one to the other, i have found the other posts in these forums that describe the ** HKLU/HKLM/policies ** Procedure, to no avail, as i feel this has something to do with a simple display registry entry, i am trying to find out where this registry entry is, or if anyone has another idea, please feel free. Thanks for replying After viewing that thread, I inspected those two registry entries, all set to 0 HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System NoDispBackgroundPage: 0x00000001 HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System NoDispAppearancePage: 0x00000001 Also, as one of the replies questioned, No matter the method (right clicking on the desktop AND control panel > display), both have the same effect, i tried to upload a pic to this thread at the beginning with a perfect screen shot, but didnt work, so if you are interested, this is the URL to the image Screenshot: http://images5.theimagehosting.com/abababa.JPG
