About a month ago I was using my computer and over a period of a couple days somehow tons of spyware appeared on my computer. After about another week I removed all the spyware but it caused a problem where I cant view any tab under the display properties except Screen Saver and Settings. Does anyone know how to fix this problem so I can view all the tabs and change them? Please help.

Mike, Go to the link below and scroll down to line 285 right column and download the ''Restore All Display Tabs'' reg file fix. Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it and answer yes to the import prompt.

I did that but it still doesn't work. After I load it I go to display and still the same. I even restarted and still nothing.

I found the problem,

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
NoDispBackgroundPage: 0x00000001

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
NoDispAppearancePage: 0x00000001

changed them to 0 and it fixed it.

Mike, Are you getting into Display Properties by right clicking your desktop then choosing Properties? What happens if you go into your Control Panel>Display can you then see all the tabs under Display Properties?
