Hi, When i try to run ANY games in full screen the image is always half to the left, the right half of the screen if therefore blank. Ive tried using the monitor controls to move it but the image on the game does not move. I've installed the latest drivers...I've never had this problem before and REALLY need to fix it...

I get this with Might & Magic6 & 7 & a few other's. As far as i know it's the games resolution that does it. If your desktop is set to 1024x768 & the game is 800x600 or even lower then the screen will move & change size. Just as an experiment change your resolution lower or higher than it is & see what happens.

Clever games have options to change the resolution from within. however, is it possible that the monitor is not switching to the correct resolution, and therefore may be faulty. Try in XP to change to various resolutions and see if the monitor switches. If not then that's your problem...;o)

Further to my last post, it could also be the Video card not switching either. The same test as above applies. You should "hear" the monitor "Switch" to the different resolutions...;o)

The problem here is not really the resolution but the refresh rate.
