How can I get the display properties icon to appear in my system tray like it did in Win9x/2k? I find it to be difficult to find out how. Also, when I dial to the internet, how do I shut off the ballon that pops up when I finish connecting to the web? ty

I don't know about the display properties icon, but you can disable all pop-up balloons in the sys tray by using Powertoys XP/ Tweak UI

Though Microsoft are determined to not let you have it the nice people at

still have a download! Thankyou!

Make sure you go to downloads page and not the link from the 'powertoys explained' tab as it just takes you to Microsoft.
The option you need is under 'taskbar/show balloon tips' in TweakUI.

Hope this helps....
