How do I defragment the MFT using Diskeeper 8?? I know it can be done, but I can't figure it out. My MFT has 2 fragments.
On a related note, wow! This is one damn nice piece of software. I thought the real-time defrag feature was BS but it really works. I have my "Set It and Forget It" to defrag the HD when the screensaver kicks in.
I'm seriously considering buying it for that feature alone (if we can fix the MFT prob above, more power to me).
Are there any other similar programs that are better than Diskeeper??

No, Diskkeeper is the best in my opinion. Ask diskeeper about your other problem. I don't understand what you are saying.

This has to be done at a Boot-Time Defragmentation and you must have a NTFS disk volume. To set open Diskeeper left click Action/Change Your Settings/Set a Boot-Time Defragmentation. Click to open options window. Do read the help file on this section.

I agree with you PhilC, but MFT tables are usually available in NTFS format only. ;)
