Disk Defragmenter

CPU/Ram: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU

I was just wonderin whether the Disk Defragmenter really makes the computer fast? My computer is not tht fast as it was 4-5 months ago so i thought would it make a difference if i use Disk Derragmenter to make my computer fast and also what does it actually do tht makes the computer fast?? Can anybody advice me on this topic?

Ya well got some bad news for ya. Disk Defragmenter makes your computer run more effeciently. It kinda arranges the files in a way that the computer can actually read them easier. So yes it does make the computer run faster than it would with fragmented files but its not like adding memory or processor speed. I would tell ya though to defrag not very often but still defrag to free up files.

Disk Defragmenter can improve computer performance, but it won't be as faster as adding RAM or a new processor. However it is recommended and it sure is better than Windows Crapmenter
