Okay, after a little searching, I found that most of that room is taken up by one file "Memory.dmp", which is in the windows folder, but still haven't found out what it is and if it can be safely deleted........

OK, now I found this, but can it be deleted safely from my system...

A physical memory dump is basically a file whose content contains the content of
your memory at the time of crash. The default setting is set to "Complete Memory
Dump" under (which can be changed):

My Computer->Advanced->Startup and Recovery->Settings.

Essentially, this file is used for debugging and troubleshooting purposes (only programmers
and tech support folks would have any real use with it). By examining the content
of the dump file, the debugger may be able to pinpoint the cause of the crash at
runtime. The size of the memory dump file varies. If the computer is set to capture
Complete Memory Dump, then the file can range from a few megabytes to several hundred
(depending on how much memory was used at the time of crashed). The dump file can
be found under %SystemRoot%\Memory.dmp (where %SystemRoot% refers to your Windows
directory).
