hi,
i put a mesage up earlier about how when i go to mycomputer right click on c drive and do disk clean-up nothing pops up...i got this reply to go to the registr editing and look for HKLM\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\Current Version\Explorer\Volume Caches\Compress Old Files. Rt click-Edit-Delete. Quit registry editor ALWAYS BACK UP BEFORE EDITING THE REGISTRY AS YOU CAN RENDER WINDOWS INOPERABLE IF YOU DELETE THE WRONG KEY!
1 things first is that there was no HKLM file there!
2nd how do i back up the files once i do find what he/she was talking bou
thanks!!!
i put s message up earlier about my disk clean up and the reply said to Run a Scandisk on that unit and then Defrag it....what does this mean? how do i do that?
