Disconnects/reconnects every 15secs

For some reason my network card disconnects and reconnects every 15 seconds or so, sometimes more, sometimes less. This reconnect takes about a second but totally makes play games over the network impossible. I've gone over everything, no other devices are sharing an IRQ with the network card, it's not the cable and it's not a bad driver. Has anyone heard anything like this before? Thanks.

Yes I've had that problem and it was annoying as ****, what I did was to get a new and bigger hd, reinstall windows (actually I switched to XP from 98) and installed everything from the beginning (network card etc), I still had my files, documents etc left. Maybe someone could help you more though?
