I am having problems with my network icon in the notification area. I have the "Show Icon in notificatioin area when connected." box checked in my network connection properties and I do not have the "hide inactive icons box" checked in the taskbar properties. My network connection is always an active connection to my broadband router. After either restarting the system or logging off and logging on again the network icon shows up but when I hover over it with my mouse pointer it disappears. The only way I can get it back is to eiter disable the connection then re-enable it again or unchecking the box in the connection properties and applying then checking it again and applying again. After doing either of these it stays in the tray. I don't think I should have to do this to have it stay in the tray.
