I have a problem with my windows, appending partial write protection to all my files and folders. I can seemingly remove the write protection, but it automatically enables itself again, at once. I can still remove, rename and change folders and files, without any problems, but some 3rd party programs, such as my FTP-server, cannot write to the disk, which means that I can't make an upload folder, where people can upload files to. I run fat(32) on all my drives, and I'm logged in as administrator, but I still can't change the settings. Anyone have any idea about what to do?

I seem to recall when I ran my FTP I had a similar issue. But there is a way to set permissions for the folders pertaining to your FTP or if you share the drive the whole drive itself.
Right click on the folder giving you issues --> properties --> sharing and security --> Advanced --> there should be a list of accounts, try in there. I think you can edit the access levels of anonymous access as well as local access (ie. Administrator.) Maybe you've disabled something.
