My DVD playing software gives me error messages now, saying that it cannot playback DVDs as TV-Out is enabled. I do not use TV-out and have no intention to, how can I disable it? I have a geForce 4 ti4200 with the latest detonators. All instructions regarding Tv-out I can find tell me to go to "nView", but this feature is only available on older drivers I believe.

I have been through all the display properties and cannot find a way. How can I turn this off?

First, update your drivers to 44.03 (whatever the newest ones are) from www.nvidia.com.

Second, right click your desktop -> properties, and go to the last tab (where you can change res)

From there, click advanced, and toy around in that menu.. one of the top right tabs should have a place where you can control dual-moniter/tv-out stuff.

Good luck,

Ian

hi andy

have you got anywhere yet because i'm having very similar problems with tv out and nvidia gforce. I'm trying to get a video sender working from my pc to my tv
(I get sound but no picture)and a guy at maplins says I need tv out ticked on the driver tab for nvidia. I've downloaded the latest drivers but when I press the tab for my video card I get the message 'run a dll as an application has encountered a problem and needs to close' so I can't get to where I need to be in order to change anything. I was just wondering whether you got sorted out yet and if the info was any good.
please reply only if you were sorted. if not I'll post a new message.
thanks
mikey b
