disabling double clicks

recently i came to know how to disable the popping up of context menus by right-clicking.

i would like to know whether there is any way by which double-clicking of the mouse can be disabled.

Yes there is, open Windows Explorer click on Tools / Folder Options / Click Items as follows / put a dot in Single click to open an item.

You can also put a dot in Underline icon titles only when I point at them.
