I disabled all user accounts trying to see if XP would start without the logon prompt.
Now i can't logon to my computer.
What to do?
have tried reinstalling. No avail.

Windows XP uses a security feature called the Security Accounts Manager or SAM. Each user account is assigned a unique Security identifier or SID. Simply reinstalling XP wont work because the old SIDs (and the fact that they are disabled) is also transferred to the new OS.
Unfortunately, about the only sure-fire fix for this is to "wipe the drive" and reinstall the operating system. Many 3rd party utilities will allow you to do so, or you can simply boot with a Win98 Startup Disk and run fdisk. After you delete and recreate the primary partition, you will then need to format the drive. From there you can reinstall the OS.
Never disable all the user accounts! Also, you might try geting in by logging on with the built-in Administrator account that was created when you installed XP. To do so, reboot the system, press F8 during bot and then select safe mode. The only account that can boot from this mode is the built-in admin account. Of course, if you disabled this account, this won't work either.

just press control+alt+delete at the log on screen. You can sign on as admisitrator if you remember the password. If you never made one then just leave all fields blank and press enter

What Robert says is actually BS. It's quite possible to remotely un-disable an account - download and use the NTRIGHTS.exe tool from the Windows 2000 or XP service packs.
Instructions on how to do this are in Microsoft's Knowledge Base.
