ok, i've searched everywhere.

is there a way to stop the new hardware wiz?

whats the point in a plug and play monitor if you have to click 9,000 ok buttons on every boot up?

geeze, enuff already, you hear me bill gates ??!!

has a Plug 'n Play disable prog. Tiny download.

Good place for all things to do with security. And yes Plug 'n Play is a security issue...just have a read to find out

Plug & Play is not a security issue. Universal Plug & Play is. Two different things. Universal Plug & Play should be disabled as there is no need for it. There is nothing at the moment that can take advantage of it.

If you get New Hardware Wizard showing everytime you boot up, let the Wizard go through its thing. If you have no drivers for the monitor, let Windows install its own default drivers and you will never see it again.
