Disable Konica Minolta PagePro Printer Status

April 4, 2010 at 13:10:40
Specs: Windows XP
I have installed the driver for Konica Minolta PagePro 1350W so I can print to file and then print on another computer.
The printer is not attached to this computer.
Now, the printer status program runs every time I start the computer.
How can I disable this status program so it doesn't run automatically?
I have looked in Startup folder and it is not there.
What mechanism would a program like this use to start automatically?
The computer is a Dell laptop running Windows XP Pro.

It's probably not the driver itself. Drivers aren't executable. It's
probably another program starting up as either a service or in
your registry as an autorun.

If you can't uninstall it, try using this: http://www.startshield.com to locate it and disable it.
