Comment:

I am trying to disable the computers settings for the disc drive.

I went to explorer, right clicked the DVD, chose properties, and started going throught the list of autoplay actions.

When I go back to check everything the system has not remebered the setting that I chose.

Out of all the options, all I want is for movie dvds to automatically play and that is it. All others are supposed to take a no action.

Any ideas what is going on? It is a new computer straight out of the box last night.

Any ideas on how to resolve this problem?
