Disable Auto Disconnect

Hello,

plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..Someone help me. Its driving me crazy. Whenever i go outside leave my computer on and i come back it is disconnected. I noe that it is auto disconnect but ive read some forums and they say turning it off will even make it worse. So i juss wanna change it so that their is no time limit like put it to like 6 days before it disconnects. So please can you help me. I have rogers highspeed internet.

viperharis911, first thing you have to determine is if it's you or them. Some ISP's will disconnect after so long a period, others disconnect after so long a period of inactivity (some of those can be outwitted by a proggie called 'Stay Alive 2000' @ http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Garage/7334/Kpalive.html )
If it's you, take a look at your settings. There's an option to check mail and hang up afterwards. Make sure you don't have that selected. Only other thing I can think of is either watch manually to see what happens or maybe a log.
