disable Aol Search window

I've tried to disable the Aol search window pop up via Aol Keyword SEARCH WINDOW as suggested by some which is supposed to allow you to opt out , however it leads to another search page and doesn't show Opt out! any other ideas on how to get rid of this pop up would be gratefully appreciated.

I haven't used the software in ages but maybe try it this way. AOL still has help forums for their program so try there, bet someone will know. Mary

Thanks Mary but I'd already tried that link but it does't work and Aol message boards haven't any answers either

try going to your task bar and right click to get TOOLBARS> AOL Search might be checked there..that's what I learned in my search to get rid of the stinkining Search window..the KY: Search Window worked for me..best wishes
