ironmaiden, Empty your browser cache. Open Internet Explorer>
Tools>Internet Options, under the General tab>Temporary Internet Files section, click
Delete Files button then put a tick in delete all offline content, click OK.
Exit your browser then open it again and see if you can save as a .jpg again.

ironmaiden,

Try right click and email it to yourself. It usually comes in the right format.

If you save a bmp as a jpg, that doesn't make it a jpg. It's a mis-named bmp.

If at first you don't succeed, you're about average.
