Okay, Direct X is being norty.

I try and open a game and it gives an error that "Should never happen and can't be fixed", the game being Narbacular Drop. I ignore it, thinking something botched during install. To test, I open up WoW... it has an error message, too.

"World of Warcraft was unable to start up 3D accelleration. Please make sure DirectX9.0c is installed blah blah"

I try STEAM games, and all of them shut down seconds after opening. I try Warcraft III, it says

"Warcraft III was unable to initialize DirectX. Please make sure DirectX8.1 or higher blah blah" I restart my computer, reinstall Direct X 9.0c, re install my drivers, everything. I am completely stumped as to what the problem is. I tried running WoW in OpenGL mode, and it says the same error.

Please help.

Well, I've never personally dealt with this problem, and a quick Google search turned up two things you can try:

1. Try reinstalling your video drivers
2. Try reinstalling DirectX.
