hey all

I am trying to install fifa 2006 world cup and everytime i enter the cd key on the back of the case, it goes to directx setup (included with the game) and i install it correctly, then when i try to continue i have to restart, which I do so, but when I get to autoplay install, it asks me again to install directx, so i dont continue this time but - same problem. I don't know what to do, i have tried installing latest version of directx, but that doesn't work also...What can I do?

just a thought.. maybe try going to the game makers website and see if they have a patch or any issue involving direct X listed.

yeah i run dxdiag, it shows version Directx 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)
My graphics card is nvidia geforce 5500 FX, so it should be covered by the FX series. I might try seeing if the demo works and get the latest drivers..if anyone has different solutions nows the time to tell me :) thanks

Go to the gamers web site, as mentioned above. Some games need patches for certain video cards in order to run properly.
