I have Creator 5 plat, updated as it said on the website. Direct CD will recognise teh data on my CD's when they are in the drive at bootup. Great :) But if I take the CD out and pop it back in it will recognise only one directory. I have no clue what is wrong. Have uninstalled/reinstalled done it every which way but have no idea. Also some don't read at all but are fine with Win98 - no network or writer in comp with 98 so more hassle that its worth transferring via floppy! Any clues on this cause I now am at a loss! (PS scandisk reports no problems!)

I'd bet it's something funky with the CD software. I've seen a lot of "odd" things happen if you have to update it in order to use it. Try poking around on the manufacturer's website and seeing if anything shows up. Might also poke around in your Event Viewer, but I'm betting it's the specific software.....

I use this program and it works great. I would delete it and start over.
After install, there is a message that comes up and tells you where to go ROXIO and xp update. You have to download two updates. One for the xp and drivers, the other one is so that it recognizes the cdrw. Then, when i get done i get rid of everything in the start except the project selector.
