I recently purchased a digital camera, and I've been having trouble getting it to install on my computer. The camera is an older model (as in made in 2000), but I don't know if that would have any impact on its performance.
The installation of programs for the camera (such as Photo Studio, AVI Creator, etc.) goes smoothly, but the actual installation of the camera will not work. The error message I receive when trying to install the drivers for the camera is the following:
"The USB driver for Windows 2000 can only be installed via Plug and Play (i.e. selecting directory containing driver files when Windows detects the camera)."
Only one driver - the RS232 driver - is installed, while the others cannot be installed for some mysterious reason. The second error message I receive is:
"The USB driver will not run under Windows 95 or Windows NT, so only the RS232 device driver will be installed."
This camera needs to download needed software off the internet, but it tells me the software is no longer available. If it helps at all, the camera is called a CoolCam digital camera.
Any suggestions?

Is it a CPO75? You can get them at driver guide per below site. Go to login area, login as drivers, password all.

Thanks for the information, JohnT - the camera I have is the model you suggested. Unfortunately, the driver seems to not want to install for me. When installing, I will be asked if I wish to exit out of a browser I'm running (I don't know what it could be, considering Internet Explorer was not open), and it will stop working after that.
I also get an error message saying that CatchUp is not configured to run on my browser. I'm not entirely sure what's wrong with it. Could it not be working because I don't use America Online?
