Difference Between USB 1 and 2

Can anyone tell me the differnce between USB 1 and 2 because they look the same! ta!

The difference between USB 1.1 and USB 2 is the speed. The bandwith limit for 1.1 is 12Mbps, while 2 reaches 480 MBps. 2 is backwards compatible with 1.1, that is, you can run 1.1 devices on a 2 port, but, it's not going to give you any bandwith increase.

The only difference on the logo is that 2 logo has a bar above the normal logo that says "hi-speed".
