Hi. I have a problem adding a printer at a remote site. I have a Windows XP pro computer with a modem attached and I connect to a Windows 98 computer at a remote site. The remote sites computer has a printer shared and has Dialup Server enabled. I can connect fine to the remote site however when I try to add the printer (network) to my XP computer I cannot browse to the printer to add it. (eg {computer name\printer name} I have also tried adding a printer at another remote site and I connect fine as well but I still get the same message - "Windows cannot connect to the printer. Either the printer name was typed incorrectly or the specified printer has lost its connection to the server" . I have even tried a "Search" "Find Computer" and it does not find the computer.
The connection is still up and the printer name is fine. I have tried this on another XP computer and I can add the remote printer and print fine. ( Identical setup)
Any Suggestions ??????
