Hello, I have a problem with my dial-up when ever I try to connect to the internet it doesnt connect the first time but it connect the second or sometimes the third time. Is there anyone out there to help me solve this problem please as this is putting my phone bill up. Thanks

Normally, this is the problem with your service provider. If you have a couple phone number in the phone list, it will dial the next one if fail. There are an option in the dial up config to move the successful phone number up the list. Or you can try to change the first number on your list. The only thing you said was "it add your phone bill up"????. Are you paying your phone by each call?

I agree with vng2k. The problem you are having sounds like it is you internet service provider.
Are you calling long distance? Depending on where you are your ISP might have a local access number you can use so you don't have to pay for the call.
