Sounds like you've installed the new drivers?
Try this;
Start-Run: type "msconfig" (without quotes) Click the Startup tag and uncheck all references to Creative.
Might work as i had the same prob! You could always "roll back" the drivers cos they work just as well with the XP ones!?

Hi,
I've read this a couple of times and there is a solution. There's a site with a patch called "LiveService". I dunno the exact site but if you'd search you'll find it, I'm sure ;-)
