For the past, I guess, 3-4 months my business computer at work has been having some trouble. When I open Device Manager, its blank. Also my Network Connections folder doesn't show any LAN connections, yet there is supposed to be. I was able to access the internet and network though, but now I can't access the internet (I can still access the files thru the network). I have a Dell computer that sits right next to the IBM (business) and I have to share the network cable b/t the two since I only have 1 cable that runs to my desk. So I know its not the cable or the router.

I tried both the Plug & Play and the Permissions setting on the Enum key in the registry solutions, neither changed anything though. Everything was already set to the way the instructions said to.

As I already stated in my original post, I tried the Plug & Play services solution. Everything was already running and set to what the instructions said to.

However just to update, I was able to fix my internet connection. I ran a Winsock fix program and it fixed that problem. However both my Device Manager and Network Connections folder are empty.
