Hiya, This probably has a really simple answer on how to solve it, but i just have no idea! Basically, i have windows XP home edition and everyone in my family has thier own user profile. Today i changed my desktop wallpaper, but not only did it change mine it also changed everyone elses to the same thing. Later on my brother went on his profile to change his back, but it changed everyone elses too! This has never happened before and we can;t work out why it is now. Anyway could someone please tell me how to fix it!!

missfabsweeney, SWAG, take a look at priveledges granted each user. Seems to me that in order to change ALL profiles, one would need to be an administrator. Seems to me like anyone with only user authority would be limited to being able to alter only his own settings. HTH. Ed in Texas.
