Desktop Not Occupying Entire Screen

Hello All, This has been bugging me for some time: My XP Desktop has a 3/8 inch gray border on the left and right sides, and I'm unable to "stretch" the Desktop to Full Screen using my mouse. Any suggestions? --Thanks/rwiz
