My desktop picture is off center, the picture's bottom and right side are not shown in the desktop, and the area right under the taskbar and where the icons are aren't covered by the picture, its just blank where the picture should be, i can still see the icons though, I don't get it, does anyone else know how to deal with this?

Right-click on your Desktop, click Properties, click Desktop tab, then select the "Position" you want.

No, I have windows XP. I have looked thru the entire desktop properties menu, there is no "position" option. I'm thinking it might have to be changed in the registry? but I have no idea, need more help please! Dan

This is because of monitor settings. You know those button on the front or possibly bottom front of your monitor? Well those are used to adjust the picture. With these buttons you will be able to change the possitioning of the screen and the size of the screen. You may need to see you manual(of your monitor) to find out exactly what buttons do what, but if you do not have it just go to the manufacturors web site and you should be able to find it.
