Hi my computer is a good one: 3ghz dualcore 4gb ram ..
my problem is that there are no desktop items at all ... everything else is there. the start menu the taskbar everytyhing but no desktop icons help please
FWIW to XP users: When you click on the 'Command Prompt' you are just causing the 'Command prompt' to be displayed. This prompt gives you access to NTVDM.EXE, the 'NT Virtual DOS Manager'.

Yamiken, Right click your Desktop, choose "Arrange Icons By" and checkmark "Show Desktop Icons".
