When using Windows Explorer from My Computer for instance the desktop icons refresh slowly, slowing up the whole process of what I am doing. I Google Group searched and found this link http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm - edit both on line 157 which are reg edits. I had a bad experience in there once before. Can aynone verify that this will work safely? Thank you. Rob

Rob, I can't verify if the fix will work safely but I have never heard of anyone having any problems with any of the fixes at the kellys-korner-xp site and I frequent many other forums.
