I am running Windows XP Professional with service pack 2. I turned on my laptop and logged in and when I got all logged in and everything all I see is my desktop. The icons and task bar have disappered. Ctrl+Alt+Delete does not work and I can't right click to get to the "view active desktop". I am on my parents computer now trying to find a solution. I have tried to boot up in safe mode but it says my password is incorrect (even though it lets me log in with the SAME password when in normal mode). Any suggestions?
