Hi Everyone, Every time I switch on my PC the Icons appear as the Normal size, then the Desktop screen goe's completely Black, then returns to normal with the Icons at a BIGGER size. Each time this happens (but not in standby mode)I have to go into screen properties and adjust the screen resolution back to 800x600 which doe's the trick until I switch off my PC, I believe that I've done nothing wrong to cause this problem, but at a loss how to maintain the Standard size Icons any other way.

johnna j, Right click your desktop, choose Properties, under the Appearance tab click the Advanced button, in the Item: narrow window use the drop down arrow button and choose(click it to hilite it) Icon and change the Size: to a smaller number, click OK/APPLY/OK. I use 800 X 600 Resolution and my Icon size is set at 27. Tufenuf

Your screen resolution changes each time you boot? Try reinstall the video card drivers. Best

Thanks for your reply TUFENUF, I carried out your instructions and reset the Icon size indicator as you suggested but it has not corrected the problem.
