I somehow deleted the desktop icon on my quick launch toolbar. How do I get it back? Any help greatly appreciated! Also, how can I transfer old mail from my desktop computer (WIN98) to my laptop (XP). I am using Outlook Express. Thanks, Steve

I lost my show desktop icon onctoo. This is how I got it back. Go to C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM and scroll down the page until you get to "show desktop" Hint; if you go through the folder in thumbnail view you will see it. Right click on it and choose Send To: Desktop(create shortcut). Now that it's on your desktop drag it down to the Quick Launch bar. That is what worked for me. Oh yea if you still have a show desktop icon on your desktop after you get done you can delete that one

Thanks 1inThePink! It Worked! To Anon Imus...my icon in Sys32 was gone. The link 1inThePink provided shows how to replace the icon in that folder. Thanks to all for responding!
