I have used Tweak UI to change the desktop folder so on both my computer I have the desktop items. But I have to refresh the view to see new folder I create and delete items, to see them there appear or go away. Is there any way I can get this to appear with out having to refresh automatically, lick when I use the normal default unshared folder.

There is no Refresh option in TweakUI. Why? This PowerToy only gives you access to system settings that are not exposed in the Windows XP default user interface. So what's wrong with hitting the F5 key?
