I made a file that I was temporarily using to move files from one place to another. I called it Weird Al Mix, because it had weird al music in it. Now the folder has nothing in it and I deleted it. But if I permanently delete it from my recyle bin it pops back on my desktop in a few minutes while I'm not looking.

tayeke, dunno if it'll help or not, but you can try it & see. Shift+Delete will erase the critter and bypass the recycle bin. In case that won't work try safe mode. If it still won't work, make sure it isn't a protected Windows file. If it turns out to be protected, try turning off restore prior to getting rid of it. HTH. Ed in Texas.
