DEP message on playing avi vids.

hi,
recently, i have been having DEP error message everytime i tried to play an svi video. this doesn't happen for any other vide oextension. this happens right after i convert a rmvb video to avi using winavi converter. i tried scanning for viruses and checking my registry for errors, but still the message appears and it reloads my explorer. any idea what is happening? im trying to figure out what to do, but i still cand find it. please help...

by the way, this goes the same for all avi extension video i tried to play, not just the one i converted.

DEP is what you have as a result of having Service Pack 2. I do not have that, but maybe this info will help you--
