Hey, ive got a few PC's on a LAN and i need to share a folder with one of those PC's but dont want any other to be able to access it.
It would be nice if the PC that has access wouldnt need to log in since i would have to give out my password.
Is there any way of doing this?
Thanx

You need to be more specific about what you're trying to do.
Also, do you have a domain for your lan? or does everyone log in locally?

There is four computers connected via hub all sharing internet from one machine (ICS), all IP's are configured manual and everything is working fine, no domain.
I need to share a drive with one of those PC's wich i have done (via network mapping) but i dont want the remaining 2 PC's to be able to access (browse, see contents etc..) the shared drive.
I can set a password for the PC sharing the folder but then will have to give out a password, I would prefer it if the PC could be able to just access the drive without the need to enter username/password but also have it so the other remaining PC's cant get access.
There must be a way of doing this?
Thanks

"without the need to enter username/password"
make a user account on that pc the same as on pc2. same name and password. the account won't be asked for a password then.
configure the sharing pc's firewall to deny access to those two machines via host name or ip address.
This can't be the ICS machine
Are you ready for where Microsoft wants you to go today?
